Diarrhea is a condition in which your shit is discharged from the bowels in two characteristic ways; frequently and in a liquid form. It is very common and usually not serious. Many people will have diarrhea once or twice each year. The following are ten ways to treat it naturally:
Rehydrate your body by drinking plenty of water daily.
Plenty of water replenishes lost fluids. Remember, your body can lose a lot of fluids and salts when you have diarrhea, making dehydration a major concern! So, drink water, plenty of it. Now what’s plenty is subjective. On normal days when you do not work heavily, 6 to 8 glasses of water is sufficient but when you work hard, play a lot, go to gym, or do any other work that drains out water from your body, drink even more water.
Eat fruits regularly.
A regular dose of vitamin rich fruits such as blueberries and oranges is effective since vitamins have the capacity to restore lost nutrients used in the digestive process.
If you've already got diarrhea, yogurt can help produce lactic acid in your intestines, which can kill off the nasty bacteria and get you feeling better, faster.
Change how you handle issues in your life.
The emphasis here is to avoid accumulating anxiety. Stress causes tummy instability to develop, eventually leading to diarrhea. So offload issues more often and listen to music, learn something new, develop a hobby, meditate and do Yoga.
Allow more times for sleep.
After all, it's often your body's natural way of getting rid of something that shouldn't be there to begin with. While sleeping enough is important, sleeping in the right posture too is important otherwise you may get wrinkles that are known as sleep lines.
Take more tea.
Black or green tea with chamomile is recommended because of its strong antioxidant potential. is good for treating intestinal inflammation, and it has antispasmodic properties as well. You can brew yourself a cup of chamomile tea from packaged tea bags, or you can buy chamomile flowers and steep 1 teaspoon of them and 1 teaspoon of peppermint leaves in a cup of boiling water for fifteen minutes. Drink 3 cups a day.
Regular exercise helps to heal your body naturally and this has a strong anti-stress and anti-anxiety capability.
Avoid milk, cheese, and other dairy products (except natural yogurt, unless you don't usually tolerate it well) while you have diarrhea as well as for one to three weeks after it stops. The small intestine, where milk is digested, is affected by diarrhea and simply won't work as well for a while.
Try to keep off meals for the first day of diarrhea, or if you must eat, eat bland foods.
When you start to eat, take more of carbohydrates for energy as well as to help restore nutrients and comfort your stomach. However stay away from sugary starch and salts. Eat more of potatoes and rice. Making sure that your starch portions are as thick as you can stomach.
